Dawson Murphy
Dawson is a Fort Myers native who has called Southwest Florida home his entire life. After attending Florida Gulf Coast University, he began his insurance career in May of 2024 and joined the East & Greenwell Insurance team, with a passion
for helping customers find the right coverage for their individual needs.
Having experienced firsthand the impact that hurricanes can have on a home, insurance is especially meaningful to Dawson. His home was affected by hurricanes Ian, Helene and Milton, giving him a personal understanding of the importance
of having the right coverage in place. He enjoys helping customers find savings, answering their questions, and most importantly, helping see they understand their coverage and are prepared when they need it most.
When he’s not helping customers, Dawson stays busy with a variety of interests. He enjoys working out, running, playing golf, exploring the beautiful beaches of SWFL, and anything involving cars. Music is also a big part of his life—he
plays both guitar and drums, writes his own music, and loves getting out to concerts. He’s also a proud Tampa Bay Buccaneers fan. Dawson has a strong connection to giving back through his family, who have been involved with several nonprofit organizations.
He has enjoyed volunteering himself over the years as well.
