Jeff grew up in Louisville, KY and attended the University of Kentucky. It was at UK where he met his wife of 20+ years – Allison East. They now have 3 children; Griffin , Garrett and Gracyn. Jeff & Allison came to Florida after living in several states while Jeff was with Sears. He was promoted multiple times and as a result they lived in KY, DC, IL, TN, WV & IL. It was while running the Sears Grand store in IL that he was recruited by WCI to Florida. Jeff spent 5 years with WCI until all sales operations were suspended, which gave him a chance to reflect. Shortly after leaving WCI, Jeff spoke with Kevin about opportunities with Allstate. He joined Allstate and shortly after was asked to take over the Sales Management and Marketing roles. This gave him a great opportunity to learn the industry. It is with that knowledge and confidence he and Kevin decided to open their own Agency. Florida is now home and the East family loves the weather and everything the Florida
lifestyle offers. Jeff enjoys running and spending time at the beach with Allison and the kids. Their kids don’t know what cold, gray days are and he hopes to keep it that way.

Kevin was born in Lexington, Kentucky and moved to Florida when he was 11. He graduated from the University of Florida and has been married to his wife Robyn for 9 years. They have two little girls, Addyson and Emersyn, who are 6 and 4 years old. Kevin considers himself a Floridian at this point, as he has been here for over 26 years. The Greenwell family loves the quality of life in Southwest Florida especially the water and the beach. They enjoy spending time with family and friends as well as watching Gator Football on the weekends. Kevin left Sprint over 10 years ago to join one of the largest personal lines Insurance Agencies in the Country. It was a wonderful opportunity for him to learn the insurance business. After having success and being recognized, he was afforded the opportunity to have his own Agency.

On the weekends you will often find him around town with his wife Lindsey, chasing their twin toddlers Gavin and Addisyn – and in the free time that does come his way he enjoys fishing the backwaters, landscaping or riding his bike along the Collier and Lee county roads. A graduate of Florida Gulf Coast University’s Lutgert College of Business, Nate built a successful family business before returning to his roots. Jason is originally from Minnesota and graduated with a Bachelors in Fine Arts from Bethel University. Like many of our customers, he packed his bags to get away from snowy winters and moved to Florida in 2013. He joined the East & Greenwell Insurance team in April of 2013 where he has grown from customer service to Senior Agency Manager in Lee County. He has thrived in the world of insurance and has built many great relationships within the community and abroad! Carissa spent the first half of her life in Rochester, NY. In 1989 Carissa’s family had the opportunity to move to Fort Myers. She attended and received her degree from Edison College and upon graduation began managing Sprint Mobile stores in the Naples area.It was at Sprint that Carissa met her husband, Jeff. Carissa and Jeff have been married for 11 years and have two children, Kileigh 10 and Kaeden 4. As you can imagine, two kids keep Carissa very busy, but in her free time she likes to read and spend time on the water. Carissa was recruited to in 2008. She is an expert in Property and Casualty insurance and has been extremely successful. Carissa’s success stems from her passion for learning and the ability to build relationships with her clients. Most recently Carissa completed the 2013 Dale Carnegie Training Program. Carissa is thrilled to be part of the East & Greenwell team and looks forward to working with our current & future clients. Brandon was born and raised in Naples, Florida. He left Florida to attend Lewis University in Chicago where he graduated with a Business Management degree. During his time at Lewis not only was he a full-time student but a full-time athlete on the swim team, even a NCAA National Champion. Coy was born and raised in Venice, FL and relocated to Naples in 2012 after meeting his wife, Chelsey. They now have two children; Andrew and Lilly. Coy joined the East and Greenwell team in August 2020, bringing over five years of prior Allstate insurance experience. He studied at Flagler College in St. Augustine, FL where he earned his degree in Business Administration. Outside of work, Coy enjoys spending time with his family and friends. His kids keep him very active and busy but he loves to get out and try new culinary experiences with his wife and play a round of golf or go fishing whenever possible. He also doesn’t mind being dragged to Disney World every now and then. He is a big supporter of the Tampa Bay Lightning and enjoys helping his wife cheer on her hometown Pittsburgh Steelers. Melissa is a licensed 2-20 and 2-15 agent. She was born in Brooklyn, New York but grew up in Cape Coral. She graduated from the University of Central Florida with a B.A. in Psychology and has an Associate Degree in Radiologic Technology from Florida Southwestern University. Before joining the insurance industry, Melissa worked as a counselor for the local Crisis Unit working with kids in an inpatient drug treatment program AND a visual manager for Kate Spade. She has always had a passion for helping people and loves talking and getting to know her customers. In her spare time Melissa enjoys spending time with her two dogs, a mini Dachshund and an Australian Shepard. Jonathan McAlister was originally born in Long Island, NY but moved to SWFL at a young age. He attended school locally at Florida Gulf Coast University and graduated with a Business Management Degree in 2020. He has no children, but has an Australian Shepard named ‘Zoey’ who fits the title!
